Accelerating diversity in Tech

We partnered with T-EDI Standards to design and build a platform that will drive the adoption of equity, diversity and inclusion standards in the technology sector

The challenge

Our core challenge was to design and build a platform that would accelerate the adoption of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) standards within the technology sector, all within a tight two-month timeframe. Partnering with Project F, the goal was to create a certification platform for organisations to benchmark and track their progress in driving meaningful change and empowering women in STEM. The key was to deliver a powerful, user-friendly tool quickly, ensuring it genuinely addressed the needs of both organisations and individuals.

What we did

We embarked on a rapid, two-month sprint, employing agile methodologies and maintaining a laser focus on essential features to ensure a swift launch. Our human-centered design approach prioritised building features users truly needed, aiming to make a real difference for women in tech. We established clear communication channels and adopted a flexible SCRUM methodology, ensuring continuous dialogue and alignment on progress, issues, and plans with the founder. This allowed us to continuously refine the product, peeling back layers of complexity to ensure the T-EDI Standards platform was not just functional but deeply aligned with user needs, balancing speed with precision to deliver a high-quality MVP.

Results

We successfully delivered a powerful, user-friendly platform in just two months, on time and within budget. The final product exceeded expectations, setting the stage for future growth and new features. Most importantly, this platform is now actively helping organisations break down barriers and create more inclusive environments for women in tech. This project stands as a testament to the impact achievable when dedicated teams collaborate to realise a shared vision for positive social change.
